I think he is in love with the drugs. He can't control them, and thereby can't control himself, and he likes it that way

First of all, this my favorite Monster Magnet song. As always, it's tough to make sense of the lyrics Wyndorf writes, but I think a lot of the things in this song aren't to be taken literally, but figuratively. I think it's about getting involved with a girl who has a wild edge to her, but keeps to herself and doesn't seem to be interested so much in him, but just sex and drugs that maybe he provides. The line "I'm in love again" hints that he is deeply intrigued by the girl, but likes it that way. He doesn't want a steady girl, and since she isn't, that's what attracts him to her. After the drugs wear off, he may not feel the same. I can't imagine a "psychotic submarine" being a reference to anything but drugs. He's stumbled out, and re-entered with her. I picture the music video to be a guy and girl in a car, flying down the highway, with music blaring, not interested in making worthless conversation, just enjoying the moment.
