	Jinx, please do shut up. If you're so caught up in the meaning of the song then why did you post with something that had nothing to do with the meanings of the lyrics? I also always thought it was "I can't swim in the silence of your escape", and that makes more sense than "silence of your skin", thus putting a whole in these pervert theories.

	this song is amazing, even if the lyrics arent perfect (which i dont think they are, but hey...close enough to get the point!) i love mcs, i think they are original...they really have their own sound. It's awesome! everyone should hear this song.

	...hmmm... now what does this mean: "you hit the road and left me an ocean i can't swim in the silence of your skin skin please let me in" i brought this up to my art class friends, and we spent the whole hour arguing about its meaning. basically, we decided that justin pierre is a pervert. a very humorous pervert. see, look... i can't swim in the silence of your skin this doesn't make sence... nope, not at all. maybe if the words were "in the abcense of your skin," where the skin could mean this girl he misses... and he can't enjoy himself without her? so then there's the perverted way to take this... she left him with nothing, hence he can't "swim" (cough, cough). ...Hmm... now another idea was that this girl was really plain, her skin (appearence) "silent," as in not horribly flashy... and then, once again, he can't "swim" in it. but i suppose the word "silence" could have just been a convienent stretch to the word "absence," and then it means that he can't enjoy himself without her. hmm...
