The song seems to be a song about how man doomed itself. The warning signs were there but we refused to listen. The hatred grew and even though we were killing ourselves, we blocked the voices that told us that we were wrong. It is too late to beg mother earth for forgivness. Your only hope is god, because man is getting exponentionaly worse.

i agree also. this song does seem to reflect the bible. "The voices calling to us deafening we're not listening" these days more and more ppl are leaning away from god not listening to his voice. we cant hear that god is trying to warn us that what we are doing now will be the death of us. of this world. but when the world finally starts to go to hell. as it says in the bible there will be 7 years of total hell and the next 7 after that will be cherished years.and the world ends "It's okay the ending it's over no more pain ." i think thats what the bible says. idk believe w/e you guys want to believe

i've got to say that i disagree with the SO2k1 reference; the whole 'monolith' thing isn't about the movie, its about heralding a shift in human existence, consciousness etc etc. this expresses, i think, the same thing AEnima does, which is that the end of this world is coming, so to speak, and it will end all the bullshit, we hope. the mother here is earth, the rest should be pretty obvious, if you can receive it that is.

To me Prod is a depressing song. Chad is disgusted with the way our planet has turned out and he is asking "God" to just end it. Unlike the song The End of All Things to Come which I believe Chad is basically saying to "God" if you aren't going to end this shit then I'm going to have to.

I think you must the text to life. It's just freaky. It's about the whole human ratrace. We're slowly killin' ourselves. We fuck this whole planet up. It's too late to save us from ourselves. I think it's a warning. Kud let us see how reallity is. Pretty bad, hum. It's time to change. The attitude must change. You can olny change yourself so let's start with that. I LOVE MUDVAYNE
