Well... It's: I'm sick of FEEDING my soul TO people who'll never know Just how purposeless and empty they've grown Because the language confuses Like computers refuse To understand how I"m feeling today That section talks about writing music people and trying to reach them, but basically they're stupid and won't understand it anyway...because the words that he writes are too complex for people to really understand and they refuse to try, just like the computer can't reason out his mood. I'm still working out the next part of my wonderous theory...lol.

i saw a liquid controlled that gives life to a soul i hit my head on it and woke up to know that i was all alone i think that part of the song is about alcohol 'liquid control' as it takes you from reality but the effects of it can be a despressent. and waking up the next morning with a hangover and coming to the realisation that alcohol hasnt cured you of your feelings its just posponed them and numbed you, is the worst thing. this is deff about a break up but havent really figured the rest out!

Yet another Kickass song (and for a B-Side too!!!) this is my 7th favourite Muse song after Plug-In, Bliss, Unintended, New Born, Cave and Sunburn. THAT'S RIGHT - I like it way more than Muscle Museum!!!

i think it also may also have something to do with modern communications like computers, and how people are prefering to use them rather than talk. "like computers refuse to understand how i'm feeling today" this may make him feel that people are more distant through computers and therefore can not get as close to him.

it's got simple music, yet the words are so complicated. To me, it's about being in a relationship where the guy really likes the girl, but she's not all that keen on him. He's wondering what's going on. Still, that's just what i think. it's the imagery that matters, and this time it's very musey. Notice that you don't really mind not knowing exactly what it's about? it's because you can picture what is happening.

well.. 'cornflake' comes very close to my own feelings about this song. although i think the person doesn't really have a hangover.. it's an emotion that you can get to without having drunk a lot of alcohol the night before, too. the person in the song gets sick of the world and himself "i am sick of feeling my soul" and just wants to be left alone.. emotions are almost too hard to handle sometimes and in situations like this you wish that emotions would not exist. you don't want to hear about other people's crap "i don't want another map of your head" - if you're having troubles yourself.. like noticing that everything seems to go wrong "that i was all alone" you're just sick of it. that's it. sick of everything. altough i have to agree, that you feel like this more often while having a hangover...
