	I think it's about a guy who is dieing, and he's afraid that a loved one, who has previously passed on, won't be in heaven, because there is in fact, no heaven in his mind.

	this is pretty much the most obvious song to try and understand.

	I personally believe that the song takes a turn as some government repeating what happened earlier in the album when they reigned in the apocalypse. The government not being sanctioned in "religion", it's really just a metaphor for their sins to mankind. The idea that they will bring it again, and not learning from their mistakes. It's almost reminding them that if they do what they do, they will surely suffer the consequences. "the end is all I can see"

	i love this song. i imagine the thoughts of a dying athiest is the scariest. in that mind, they believe nothing will happen after they die. how depressing.

	If an athiest becomes scared to die, it's most likely because they realize their beliefs are wrong and there is, in fact, something they should fear. The eerie whispers he hears might also be spirits haunting him in the end. He knows they're in the room, sighing because of their opposing views. It scares him, plainly. Maybe the spirits are trying to save him before it's too late.
