Band: Muse
Song: Yes Please
Album: (Neither)
Tabbed By: Darkshines ( Sophbiz@hotmail.com )

This is a totally kick-ass song!!
Well, think so anyway. This is one of Muse’s better B-sides.
Alongside the rocky likes of Ashamed & Execution Commentary.
Anyway, I’m not 100% sure on the way I’ve tabbed this, but
at the moment it’s the best I could do. I’ve only been
playing for under a year, & this is my 1st tab, so bear
with me. Don’t worry about being precise. I didn’t. And
just to be helpful in general, I’ve put the lyrics
(what I `think`) in at places. As I didn’t (& I still don’t)
have a bloody clue what he was going on about. So, any
lyric suggestions? mail me. Here goes!

Here is the basic start: You get the drift? Cause I can’t be
arsed with typing it all out precisely. K?

This is the basic riff. Just follow this through and
you’ll get what I mean. Alternate if U want.
v this goes with this ^ riff.
(Laughing & talking in background)
“...on top of my pleasure pill?...ha! ha! ha!
YES PLEASE!! Ha!! Ha!!” (yes, that is matt saying that!)
Accompanied by bass this riff really stands out!
To add a little meat to the riff, hit 2
strings on alternate sets of notes.
If you know what I mean....

This is another basic version. Lots of people have
different opinions on it. So make your own.
^ I never thought that this could come to this
I just wanna look at your face in peace now
You’ll never miss, But I can!!!!

(Play main riff) - (Muted scale)

I cannot keep
The shame that’s clawed us out

(Main riff) - (muted scale)

Rrr, I will not keep
Your shut-up, shut-up lies
(play main riff, with the bending)

Play the above riff, as this is the basic
riff for this part of the song. Just alter
it a bit, as I can’t be arsed to.

^ never thought that this could come to this
I just wanna live in bliss in peace now
You will never miss
But I can.....

(Play Main riff)

The End. Hope this helped, if it didn’t tough. Thanx.

awesome song. The lyrics don't really seem too important, i think it's more the feeling of helplessness you get listening to the song. Which would reflect well on the drug addiction meaning... really f*cking intense, i love it

Alot of people get song confused with ashamed, hence why some people think the lyrics are wrong.

Whatever the lyrics are, it's about a guy Matt know whose life was totally destroyed by his drug addiction.
