| This song definitely has to be looked at together with Supermassive Black Hole (although I think this song has a much better sound). Nothing, not even light, can escape the force of a black hole's gravity, so dense is its mass. A supermassive black hole is a special kind of black hole- current theory holds that most, if not all galaxies, have a supermassive black hole at their galactic center. It's all very complicated astrophysics, beyond my comprehension, really. I get the feeling that it's all some grand metaphor, seeing as some believe the presence of a supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy is related to the creation of the galaxy. A black hole can then be both constructive and destructive. Interesting, no? Still not sure how al of that relates to these two songs. | |

| the song meaning is: he's going away and tells her lover to wait for him , coz she's everything in his life and after a lot of time he just wants to hold her in his arms , not so sure about the line :"our hopes and expectations , black holes and revelations" i think it means that everything he hoped about his return is something that he could never have and the revelation is that her lover has some1 else. | |

| "conspire to ignite" that goes with the main theme of revolution/change "the cells that would die just to feel alive" could be terrorist cells (maybe that's a bit tenuos but it would mean "the ship" could be suicide bombers. "the people who care if i live or die" they might not really care about his life, but instead how he dies well it's a thought and it fits with the main theme a bit but i don't know if i believe that's what they meant | |
