the song it's against corruption , if they say it directly then , they end up being punk and nobody wants muse to become another green day.

In support of the above comment: "Take A Bow calls on world leaders to take responsibility for their actions" from http://www.musewiki.org/Take_a_Bow_%28song%29

In my opinion I think they're having a go at the politicians of America who were involved in the bombings of 9/11. Some really strong links to "Corrupt, you're corrupt" and then blaming another for the crime, they "Feed the hate of the country you love" Only makes sense they'll "Burn in hell" check this link out for 9/11 Loose Change, then you'll understand. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5137581991288263801&q=9+11+loose+change

That's bollocks mate, what the hell does "Feed the hex on the country you love" mean. It's "hate" but pronounced quite strangely, I admit.

Muse are a British band, and I think this was inspired by Blair (no, that's not a compliment to him). "contrary to what we want": how many people walked the streets of London to protest against the war on Iraq? How many people want Blair to remove himself from Bush's ****, engage his own brain and do what we, the people in the country he "runs", want? In any case, this is a FANTASTIC track on an INSPIRED album that's growing on me every time I hear it.

pretty obviously about (our) government. osama doesn't run a country to cast spells on, he doesn't risk lives, and the chorus refers to a common desire (freedom), which doen't make sense for osama. it's not about osama. it's about the government (not osama).

This is a good song but not one of my favorite ones on this album. I think this is just more towards corruption of government in general, not so much USA.
