| this song feels like there is some really deep pain that someone went through and the emotions of never letting it go (duh) and the anger that goes along with it. I dunno, I listened to this song constantly after my dad died, and I really connected with it. The idea that you always have this hurt inside and that no matter how hard you try something will end up wrong, that that's just life (Strive for perfection and strike with precision soon it blows up in your face and the smoke blurs your vision). The best line however is is what Jeffrey Nothing yells "the cut that always bleeds but never shows." That just sounds like a deep emotional hurt that you always carry with you but people wouldn't see just by looking at you. | |

| It is just me, or does that squealing at the end creep you out? The first time I heard this song, I about jumped out of my skin. That blood-curdling squealing is really crazy. The song is about loving someone and never letting go not even in death. Which reading the lyrics a few time and processing it threw your head makes sence. That no matter what happens between the two of you. That you are still going to love that person. That you are always going to be there for them. | |
