| I reckon its about not getting the person you love and is comparing it to other things. Like monday mornings are bad as is not getting your love. And she goes out alone whereas they could goout together. etc etc but who cares as its a top song and can mean whatever to each person | |

| Not sure about this one... it could be about how different life is when you are going out at night on the weekend compared to when you are at work during the week. "hey monday morning" - monday is the day of the week you wish the most it was still the weekend. Hes trying to say that he wishes that people could live like they do on the weekend all the time. | |
