Teenage Politics!
Tabbed by Kyle

I think it was high time for a decent tab of this song.

I don't know if this is exactly right, but I know that it is pretty freakin' close.
The scratch in the intro is optional. Anything in brackets is optional.

Put on songlyrics.com in honor of (duh) MxPx and my best friend who just went away to college... he said it was his "theme song", so...yea. It's special. I like how it states how being a teenager can be tough and not always fun and games. Sorry If some words are wrong, I tried!

I think song has to do about our parents excepting that "it's a new day and age." We aren't going to like the same kind of music they did way back when (ref. to elvis) or where what they used to. This song means that times have changed since our parents were teenagers and our parents need to except this. It also has to do with how parents don't understand what it's like to be a teenager. "...but i think they forgot What it's like and how hard it is to be a teenager ..." This may be wrong, I'm pretty sure it's not though.
