| This whole song abviously revolvs around the chorus "I heard that sound", Now I don't understand the everything in this song, but it seems like the sound could be hope or comfort. He says "it came in like static off the tv", maby it's from God? That's my guess I know MXPX is a Christian band even though most of their songs don't clearly metion His name. But I think if you listen close to some songs you might hear something that gives it away. | |

| Um,the lyrics are a litte off, here's the correct version: Verse 1: Without a window to see through I did my time,in here without you Slept on the floor down in LBC Lead me back home under the marquee It seems like misery loves misery But my favorite songs, they keep me company So many memories come back to this I may be lost but I'm not hopeless Chorus: I heard that sound a mile away I heard that sound a mile away All those things I wish that I could say I heard that sound a mile away Verse 2: Came in like static off the TV This kind of thing never goes easy I meant to tell ya but you were gone Tried to get it right,I got it all wrong Repeat Chorus Sat outside the show No where else to go Doors shut can't see It sure does sound good to me! Whoa! Whoa.........Good to me x2 ^as for the kinda soft part behind this I think he's saying: Another night alone, outside the show Another night alone,no where to go Repeat Chorus | |

| MxPx is amazing. And this song is AMAZING, my favorite. Everyone's felt that invincible, indestructible summer feeling before...and this song perfectly describes it. | |

| i AM into mxpx and this song is so good becuase it is so melodic that the lyrics dont even count for a while but when i did listen to the lyrics i thought it was about having acriush that doesnt kno you but you feel so much for them. He notices his crush no matter where they are but they have no idea who he is. | |
