| this is such an amazing song! my favorite on the album thats for sure. I love the part that goes "Steel corpses stretch out towards and ending sun scorched and black It reaches in and rips your flesh apart With ice cold hands and grabs a hold of your heart That's if you've still got one that's left inside that cave you call a chest And after seeing what we saw, can we still proclaim our innocence" especially when he screams it in the background part. ohhh man, thats a turn on for me. ahahahahhaha see all you kids at the show! | |

| great way to start off thee bullets album. it adds that little mysterious edge to it... like, the way i see it... the song is kinda representing that the music can be like... real idk if "hardcore" is the word im looking for...but n e ways... yeah and be sorta slow and mellow at the same time... (ex. demolition lovers). but the slowish songs still keep that emotion that gerard expresses throughout all the songs on the album... anger..depression....but with still being a little more calm in the slower songs....his anger just escalates threw the song without completely going all out if ya kno what i mean..i kno my meaning is a little twisted cuz i really dont kno..how to like,...try to say what i think it means...and type it... so yeah........try to understand what i meant..lol | |

| Actually it does make a lot of sense when applied to sept 11... Broken city sky could be the fact that the twin towers are no longer there, "hello angel tell me where are you tell me where we go from here" could be those affected asking the question Why, and where did morals and decency (the angel) go? "and in this moment we cant close our lids on burning eyes" Everyone hated what happened but the damn videos of it are STILL broadcast.. "It reaches in and tears your flesh apart, as ice cold hands rip into your heart, thats if you've still got one thats left, inside that cave you call a chest, and after seeing what we saw, can we still reclaim our innocence?" As in how americans were filled with hate after it happened, everyone wanted revenge, ie lost their heart because now they want to do something equally awful to their attackers (and they did) but lets not turn this into a big sept 11 discussion... I'll end it at yes id say that fits rather well. | |

I'm not using a live version so I can't be sure.

| MCR would've still happened if 9-11 didnt that was just part of an inspiration for a song not for the band so thats a stupid thing to say. neway this is an amazing song best part "It reaches in and rips your flesh apart With ice cold hands and grabs a hold of your heart That's if you've still got one that's left inside that cave you call a chest And after seeing what we saw, can we still proclaim our innocence" and the screaming in the backround makes it sound really raw and important like the song wouldn't be right without that screaming. Amazing song one of the best off i brought u my bullets u brought me you love and really amazing considering it was there first song ....i love it....i also love gerald gunna see him in 2 days at taste of chaos!!!!!!!!!!! | |

I think the lol is a lie dude was just trying to say like, good things can still come out of like, way sucky things. that brekfast monket thing sounds cool. i would totally forgive cartoon network (just) for what it's doing to kids if they'd done something like have a cartoon by ger on there.

| ^^^^^ i cant believe you said that....i dont know what you meant by it, but there is no good reason, even if it is m.c.r , for 9-11. id rather have no m.c.r than have thousands of people be killed by filty terrorists. "if 9-11 never happened we wouldnt have my chemical romance today" and if it didnt, the families of those killed on 9-11 wouldnt be crying and suffering over their losses. sorry for the rant but 9-11 was disgusting and i see no good reason for it happening. p.s. this song is amazing. | |

| First off it wasnt Comdey Central, it was Cartoon Network Gerard was at a meeting with Cartoon Network on 9-11 he was trying to pitch his idea about his Cartoon. His cartoon was about a scandinavian flying imp who talked like Bjork and harnessed a special power called Breakfast Magic. Which meant he could create an assorted menu of breakfast food. One power was making giant waffles appear. The show was called "The Breakfast Monkey" and sadly cartoon network turned down the pitch because they already had another food related show in production. That show was Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Grerard saw the whole thing happen, it changed his life. a week later he and his friend Matt got together and jammed in matt's attic and record a demo, the first song they ever recorded was Skylines And Turnstiles which was about what happened a week earlier. If 9-11 never happened we wouldnt have my chemical romance today "And after seeing what we saw, can we still proclaim our innocence And if the world needs something better Let's give them one more reason now" | |

| I don't know if this is connected to September 11th, it could be. But one question, why was Gerard at Comdey Central headquarters? For cartoons? The only cartoons I know Gerard has done are all dark and rather violent. He's a great artist, but I don't think it's anything that would be on Comedy Central. Next time I run into Gerard at a show, I will definately ask him about it, cause if it is about September 11th, that would be awesome. | |

| this is such an amazing song! my favorite on the album thats for sure. | |
