| I just read the comment about it possibly being about teenage pregnancy, and it definately does work: "Oh baby here comes the sound! I took a train outta New Orleans and they shot me full of ephedrine. This is how we like to do it in the murder scene. Can we settle up the score?" She took the train to get an abortion. Ephedrine is a drug, referring to the hospital. A lot of people say that abortion as murder. ("This is how we like to do it in the murder scene") "If you were here, I'd never have a fear. So go on live your life. But I miss you more than I did yesterday. (You're beautiful.)" She still has feelings for the guy, or this could even be the guy talking to her. The girl could be scared to have the abortion because she's going to get it alone, or the guy could be thinking about her because she decided she didn't want the baby. "Well I'm a total wreck and almost every day. Like the firing squad or the mess you made. Well don't I look pretty walking down the street. In the best damn dress I own? " Guilt over the abortion or thoughts of thThis is either the guy mocking the girl, basically calling her a slut, or the girl saying that she's moved on and basically being a tease to him. "We are, made from the sharpest things you’d say. We are young and we don't care. Your dreams and your hopeless hair. We never wanted it to be this way. For all our lives. Do you care at all?" They realize that they are young, and they just changed their whole lives with this relationship. They are moving on but they have grown up. They still long for eachother, but they know that it's best to live their own lives. | |

| Pitchfork Red, when did you see them in concert? Most of what Gerard says when he's on stage shouldn't be taken literally. He was wasted for almost every show this summer on the Warped Tour. He's recently cleaned up. He likes to make shit up a lot too. LoL I love him for it. Great song, great album. | |
