| This is another song that isn't necessarily to tie into the story, but to touch on an issue. I think this song is edgier and more controversial than Cancer, because it talks about school shootings unapologetically. "If you're troubled and hurt, what you got under your shirt will make them pay for the things that they did!" it's not saying its bad or good, its just giving the way the kids who do it think. To tie into the story, maybe the patient is recalling his teenage years, and the Black Parade shows him the lives of many other teenagers: scared, alone, picked on just like he was. It could show him empathy for others, show him that yes, his life was rough, but so is everyone else's. I see this as the Black Parade tellin him "So you've suffered...WE HAVE TOO. Suck it up and get over it. There's more to life." | |

| This song is about teenage gun crime. Gerard described it in an interview with NME saying that it's really bad that kids are killing kids Obviously it's gotta have a feel for the concept of the album too, so it might have something to do with having to bow to peer pressure i.e. The Patient had to follow the crowd when he was a teen so he wouldn't get picked on | |
