do u really think he left her becoz of reasons like falling in love with someone else? i rather think that he died; maybe he was critically ill. the line "he didn´t take the time to lie" implies that he must gone very quickly or that she hasn´t meant anything to him (anymore).

First off, the song was originally sung by Cher however, this version is much better, and Cher sucks. Second, the Kill Bill movies got a lot of hipe, and didn't perform. The story was terrible, a white blonde american women that knows the ancient ways of the Samarai. REAL NICE...

Personally I think that he left because he didn't care. When she called him hers he just laughed. He didn't care therefore he didn't even bother to lie. Great song.

Awesome song, heard it from the Kill Bill soundtrack. Pretty obvious meanings, thus why there are few posts. She fell in love with her childhood friend who was a boy, who eventually left her. All she has left to remnisce was their indians and cowboys game. I'm a guy and I think its great....it seems like a chick song though

EvolGRE oh for gods sake, please, get a life. the films were good, ppl liked them, and wen uv been round the entire population of the united states to check that they cant use a sword, please come back and comment again. then i mite accept wat ur saying. as for sayin i shud come to my senses....kill bill 1 and 2 DO deserve the praise they are getting, they didnt suck, and the only person who shud come to their senses is u, for bein so single minded just coz u dont think a white american woman can use a sword. god ur pathetic if thats wat u think.

I'm actually one of the few people who weren't introduced to this song by Kill Bill. I saw Murder By Death the other night and they covered it...did a damn fine job too

I'm totally wrong? How many American's do you know that know how to use a samarai sword? Just American's, we won't even limit it down to Blonde women. To add on, how many people do you know that can kill such a large ammount of people alone? Here's another good one, the poking Bill in the 5 presure points and then he walks 4 steps and dies? That's the most retarded thing I've ever heard. Let's say it was true, it's not a good attack method because lets say your opponent never takes 4 steps, then he never dies. Don't get me wrong, I like Quintine Tarentino, his work in Resevous Dogs was amazing. His work in Kill Bill however, was not. The story line was not good compared to other works by Tarentino. Torrance21, I suggest you come to your sences and realize this. Kill Bill 1 & 2 sucked and don't deserve they praise they're getting.

evolgre, you're totally wrong. Kill Bill 1 and 2 where amazing films, as are most things that Tarantino is involved with. The story was brilliant, you obviously weren't watching it properly. Who's to say that a blonde, white, American can't know how to use a samarai sword? You really don't have a clue! Lol.

The "Kill Bill" movies introduced me to this song too...and i really like it. In the first kill bill, right after it shows bill shooting the bride in the head, the music starts. And it made the movie infinitly more powerful. And that movie is NOT meaningless violence, thank u very much.

EvolGRE, she's an assassin. She's been trained to use the samurai sword by the best there is and it even shows in the movie that she recieves training from some of the greatest martial artists, Pai Mei for example. Use your imagination a bit, not everything has to be straight foreward. Obviously you didn't watch the movie too closely and if you did, you perhaps lack the capacity to understand it properly. Kill Bill 1 and 2 has incredible cinematography and a thought provoking story line. Maybe you should watch it again with an open mind and without the expectation that it will be Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction.

Kill Bills I & II are fucking amazing...and this song is too. Quentin picks the most perfect songs for all of his movies. My favorite was "Girl, you'll be a woman soon" by Neil Diamond, in Pulp Fiction, right before Mia OD's. Brilliant.

It doesn't matter what you think she was doing with a sword, the point u were tryin to make was that it was unrealistic that she cud hav bin who she was. I'm (along with many others) are defending a film that is really REALLY good. You're the one with the bullshit! Ha ha!

Wait, wait, wait. In Kill Bill one, I didn't know break dancing with a sword was martial arts. She was break dancing while cutting off people's legs. That's a masterpiece? You say I should get a life, yet, you're defending a movie that was bullshit.

This is supposed to be songmeanings, but since we're talking about the movie I can't resist siding with EvolGRE. I haven't seen Kill Bill 2 yet, but I was very dissapointed with the first one. I love Tarantino, but thought this effort lacked quality.

I'm a blonde american male and I'm pretty good with a samurai sword. Why don't you come over here and tell me American's know nothing of martial arts and swordplay. I even know the illegal ninja moves from the government.
