Nargaroth is a one man black metal band from Germany.
Nargaroth was formed in 1989 by René Kanwulf Wagner as a one person band. At that time Kanwulf was still a teenager. In 1991 the demo Orke was released, it contained 7 instrumental tracks. Two years later in 1993 the demo Herbstleyd was released. In 1998, No Colours Records contacted him to re-record Herbstleyd and release it as a CD. Kanwulf agreed and Herbstleyd was released by No Colours CD in 1999. in 2000 the album Amarok was released by No Colours. Also in 2000 the controversial demo Fuck Off Nowadays Black Metal was released.
