Sweet Caroline
(D) E D/F# E/G#
Good times never seemed so good
A D
I've been inclined
E D C#m Bm
To believe they never would but now I
Look at the night
And it don't seem so lonely
We fill it up with only two
And when I hurt
Hurtin' runs off my shoulders
How can I hurt when I'm with you
Warm, touchin' warm
Reachin' out
Touchin' me
Touchin' you
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
Oh, no, no
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
Sweet Caroline

| It's much cooler when it's played/sung at Madison Square Garden after a Rangers win than at Fenway... | |

| No, the 7th inning stretch they play Take Me Out To The Ballgame. The middle of the 8th belongs to Neil. It's the perfect baseball song - "was in the spring, and spring became the summer" - baseball starts in spring, and is in full swing by summer. And when you're at Fenway with your friends or family or someone you love and the Sox are winning and this song comes on, good times never seem so good!! | |

| im pretty sure its played during the 7th inning strech at fenway not in the 8th inning, and i agree its better at fenway than MSG, i dont really like Neil but this song is pretty good, and can the Ranger fans say they had him play it live during the game? i dont think so. | |

| This song is the shiz. I hate it when you tap your foot but anytime I listen to this song I have to. I hear that bass. I tap my foot. I start to sing along. I can't help it. This song perfectly describes a perfect relationship. | |

| There is this bar where i am from, and every nite when they call last call they turn on the lights and start to play this song, but no one leaves everyone is trashed and is swaying back and forth singing this song, with arm around each other, it's great every time i go i can't wait for the bar to close . | |

| As for the meaning of the song, I think he's singing about being happy with a fling. Just a lighthearted song, and it's hard not to sing along. I always wondered why everyone knew this song around here, and now I know. I live in the Boston suburbs but have been to Fenway park only once. Those tickets are too expensive. Such is the downfall of having a champion team, an insanely loyal fan base and a small ball park. | |
