| i hafta agree with drayna14...gc and simple plan bring nothing new and have no substance, bands such as nfg and yellowcard have worked their asses off to get to where they are, if gc just took off all the make up and just admitted their not leading the 'punk' revolution then maybe someone would lay off of them if they were honest, but when they say something like that they just spit in the faces of the real punk bands such as NOFX n such, and simple plan, sorry buddy but their is nothing to their music, once again just doing "the cool thing to do", they don't expand on anything but instead just write crappy after crappy lyrics...there's a reason we add POP to the pop-punk, gc and simple paln are manufactured POPULAR punk with no substance | |

| This song sounds like fuckin' Sick of It All. Does anybody hear it? Well anyways, I feel this song is about them and the current state of the music industry (more specifically: pop-punk) and NFG have always been themselves. Yeah, they're a bit goofy, but they take their music very seriously. They all grew up in a scene and understand what it is and isn't to be [a] punk. They've always been pop-punk since the Nothing Gold Can Stay days, and that was almost 6 years ago - a little before pop/punk became a fashion. This song is a testament of all that, and how they're pissed off about it all, including MCA (now Geffen Records) [jointed with Drive-Thru Records] fucking them over. And actually, if you listen to the whole album Catalyst, it's massly about that. Though it's all cleverly written in a way where if you didn't know the guys you'd think they were just writing songs about girls again. Listen to "All Downhill From Here", it's all about NFG's relationship with their record label. It's beautiful. But yes, this song is a great song. It says plenty. For the kids that don't get it, good, but for the kids that get it, great. | |

| thatWASthen...you had a great comment until the last statement; GC and Simple Plan are good bands that just made it big. I totally agree with NFG in this intro song but still dont hate on bands that have success, especially good charlotte, those kids busted their ass and went through some tough times and deserve all the success they've had | |

| GC and Simple plan didn't make themselves, they were made by producers and promoters. You dont make yourself off of a couple of full lengths, have you ever heard of originality? | |

| Okay, I was gonna keep my mouth shut but a can't. First, about the song. Awesome, if they had left the f-word out. It's so tasteless. Frankly I'm surprised at them for putting it in there. Second- about GC and Simple Plan. The hell they didn't make themselves. Those kids worked their asses off to get where they did. And just because they have five people in the band, and have similar musical taste, doesn't make them unoriginal. They each have amazing lyrics. I have had the pleasure to meet both bands and I must say that I am very proud of what they have accomplished and they deserve it all. They are amazing people and they don't take ONE BIT of their success for granted. So don't hate on them. -XBeautifulLetdownX | |

| It very well could be interpreted as a song about sXe. After all, Chad is edge. He actually writes most of the lyrics, too. | |
