IT'S BEEN A SUMMER - New Found Glory
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Album: Sticks And Stones (2002)
Tabbed By: AnDy PaNNeLL (andypannell@anewfoundglory.net)
Notes: OK this is in drop 'd' tuning. It is (almost) perfect, it is done by ear
this is how my band plays it, it sounds great. If you can turn the music so
it only goes to your right speaker for the first bar you can play with the
drums it might seem useless but I quite like it :-)

Chorus: BOTH GUITARS

B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|0--0--2--2--5--5--5--5--5--5--5--5-----------------------------------------|
A|0--0--2--2--5--5--5--5--5--5--5--5-----------------------------------------|
D|0--0--2--2--5--5--5--5--5--5--5--5-----------------------------------------|

The intro also appears again half way through the song and at the end
The chorus also plays as a bridge with a pick scrape at the end
I tried to get the picking of the D chord in the verse kinda right but fiddle
around and you should get it to sound just right!

Yeah my new theam song for the summer, cuz me and my ex split thanks to the fact that when in college the summer relationships desolve from distance, ,but I often lay awake at night thinking, I would rather die than spend this night without her. Too bad I am am pussy emo bitch-ass. Check out Don't Look Down, they often tour with NFG. And SunKizz My friends over you isn't that much of the "shiot," It is overly popy compared to most of their songs.

According to allmusic.com, this song has not been stuck on any albums that they know the tracks/songs/song lengths to. Sorry, I'll investigate further, if possible.

I could marry Jordan after hearing "I'd rather die than spend this night here without you"Ooooo yes,not really heh.It reminds me of just laying in bed for the past week trying to go to sleep but not being able to because it's friggin' heated out and just missing the other part of yourself makes "sleep harder to come by". It's a damn good feeling people!
