	I think that the Chad or the person in the song, has been this way for a while and this girl came along and seen him for him and he finally relized how he was so when he woke up he felt like shit. Make sence?

	I'm a very big Nickelback fan, & this song is probably one of my favorites. I really like this song even though it is kinda depressing when you really sit & listen to it. "I paid my last respects this morning on an early grave/already said goodbye, nothing left to say". To me, that means that he's burying is former self w/ no goodbye's or regrets, but not really knowing where he's going next or how he's gonna be. Maybe it doesn't mean that, but that's how it fits into my life.

	this song is very depressing and about someone suicidal. every morning they wake up and wonder what they have to live for. he is depressed because someone close to him died (according to people on here, his grandma, although the song makes it sound more like a lover than a family memeber) and he wonders if he should kill himself and join his loved 1
