	I was listening to the song and am trying to figure out what he's saying during the one bridge. So far as I can tell its something along the line of "......I'm sucking on yourtit...........it was the best when I move in on your cheast.....we'll be sorry anyway" at least thats what it sounds like though theres alot that I just can't make out. If I'm wrong please correct me cuz I want to know real bad. Still a great song though.

	i was once told by someone that i loved and i thought loved me back that he was just using me for sex. and i understand the "favorable slavery" part because i realize that he was just using, (still is), but everytime we get together it still ends up in the same place... sex.

	okay I'm so glad you all are trying to figure out that hidden bridge part because I have tried for a month to get it. I first even noticed it when I had i pod headphones on, and some will pull in the words better than others, but anyway I think it says something about "it always was the best when I'm coming on your chest" or something. WHere is Nickelback to answer this question for us?

	You guys are all wrong about it. He's not using the girl for sex, he loves her: "Well i wanted you i wanted no one else" But she's only using him for physical affection and he knows it but he can't resist her :" favorable slavery" Unfortunately i can really relate to this song when i think of a certain time in my life.

	the little brigde part goes SOMETHING like: i guess it wasn't what i want it really wasn't what i thought i thought it was the day i got it i want it all to go away there's no "oh god...." --oh hey hunter. i don't even know how you got that much of that part before the bridge. but yea, after i listened to it and read what you wrote.. sounds pretty damn close. good job

	why can't we find the little bridge part on any lyrics site??? i guess it wasn't what i want it wasn't really what i thought i thought it was the day? oh god i want it all to go away? that's about 90% correct i think, but why can't we get that in the normal lyrics

	I always use personal references... I believe its all about sex. He knows he is in a bad position with some he dosen't love and takes advantage (or is taken advatage of) "caught up In favorable slavery" This song is much like Self Esteem by The Offspring. It is a worthless relationship ... but good sex. He is in a relationship that he truly dosen't control that is mostly only about sex ... Favorable slavery ... Hi Susie ... come visit some time
