Ok people, nobody is giving the whole story. Pantera broke up, correct? Yes. And some people blame it on Dimebag, correct? Yes. Ok, well one of those Pantera "fans" who blame their break-up on Dimebag just so happens to be the one that shot him. Yes, a Pantera fan shot Dimebag because he supposably "broke-up the band". Chad and Dimebag were good friends of couse so he used some of Dimebags recorded solos to make a song for him, correct? YES. It ticks me off that Dimebag was shot over a band break-up. I mean, it's not like killing Dimebag was going to get the band back together, so what's the point? It's so cruel. People get so caught up in things nowadays.

It's about Dimebag Darrel, of Pantera and Damageplan, who got shot on stage by a "fan." He hit the stage so full of rage His brother watched you do it Those 2 lines give it away to me. Cause of the stage refference, and Vinnie was also shot, but survived.

For some reason, it reminds me of Columbine, even though I'm sure that's not what it's about

Yes, angry Nickelback is back! Now if only they made less pathetic generic ballads and songs like this (even an original ballad would be acceptable at this point).

I think what gives away the Dimebag meaning is that Chad Krogor (spellings wrong I know) said it was. Dimebag recorded some solos before he died. When Nickelback finished recording the song they wanted to do something special for so they asked Vinnie to re-do the drumming, but he said the drumming was good enough. So then either Vinnie or Dimebags girlfriend (I cant remember) gave over some Dimbag solos, Nickelback edited them in, the rest is history.

I saw Nickelback in concert on Jan. 31st. This song totally rocked..just a load of energy in this song, pyro was amazing to go with it. Before the song ended they had a huuuge Cemetary Gates drum solo..it totally added meaning to the song..definately rocked, one of the best songs of the night.

emyr, actually it was concluded that the "fan" that shot him suffered from paranoid schizophrenia and believed that the band was reading his thoughts and was laughing at him.

i surpose ive never asociated this song to an actually shooting but more just of taking a life away. crushing someone so much it ends up destroying them, maybe leads to them comitting suicide? and how they hate that person so much for doing that. i know its not actually about it, but its what came to mind for me xxx
