| That's sick....but funny. This song always gave me the impression that it was about a girl that realized that the world was coming to an end, so she became a whore, or was forced to. Lines like "this is what I am/bare graced for the end of days" support my idea. | |

| ...I always thought the "Spoiled Lucrece" line was referring to Lucrezia Borgia....Hmmm..... Well, I guess it depends on what side of the argument you're on....If she's the sympathetic figure, the Roman Lucretia works: it wasn't her choice to become what she is. If she's unsympathetic, then it's Lucrezia Borgia: she willingly became what she is and has no problem with it. | |

| Spoiled Lucrece lies warm for you I love this line. Although it is kind of nasty. I think it refers to Lucretia, a Roman noblewoman, who was famous for her purity and grace. She was raped by the son of the last king Rome, Sextus Tarquinius and killed herself after that (those events are said to have lead to the end of the Roman monarchy). So if the speaker refers to herself as "spoiled Lucrece" it tells us that she was pure once - now she is the complete oppsite. And if we read then "cinnnamon bed for your unashamed appetite" and so on... well, I don't think I have to comment any further, as AngelicAnime said above. | |

| Hehe, don't forget it was a guy who wrote these lyrics, which makes it more creepy. So whenever I hear this song I never seem to think of it in Tarja (or any womans) point of view but yes it fits right in to let a woman sing it. Nightwish is good like that. | |

| This song is VERY cool/haunting, and -in the first verse only- sounds like Tarja is talking to a boy she's gonna molest. Sorry tarja i love you, but thats the first thing that came to my head and now realize that thats rediculos. once again, Sorry. but do try and see what I mean!! | |
