	If you look at other songs they will bluntly state stuff...I think I really like Nightwish mainly because of the depth to their songs. I think thatthanatopsisazraelis was aminly correct..but I'd just add that when he says "I wish I didn't feel for you anymore" he loves something but he wishes he could let it go and move on to find his own "mother's lap" to rest in and cry in.

	To me, it actually doesn't sound like an orphaned boy. From what Tuomos said about this song in the interview, it's exactly what "Vaeltaa" has said, its just an apology from Tuomos to his loved ones and what nightwish means to him etc... the verses that probably best describe what nightwish means to him is..."every thought, the music i write, everything a wish for the night" anyways...enough of that, overall i luv this song.

	satan was the angel of light, he almost made it. i never used to like nightwish, but then i heard "I Wish I Had An Angel" and i enjoyed it, then i saw this song had the most comments so i checked it out and now i am addicted :^D

	"If you remotely knew anything about Tuomas or Nightwish, you would understand that the Finnish do not express themselves outwardly, they write it or just hold it in, and plus, If you people treat you like a failure your whole life your not gonna say how much you love them and miss them, your gonna say that you arent going to shame them anymore hence the song." i agree with you completely, i know how it feels, i feel like this boy but i cant my feelings into words, although i'd love to. its quite difficult to go on having everyone tell you not to bother cause you're just gonna fail in whatever you try.

	death is what i can gather from the lyrics. but not fear of it, welcoming. or maybe not death, but some lyrics seem to point towards that. i recall Fight Club "Dark, Silent and Complete" and come back to this. the sound of the song is not dim or gloomy for me, but accepting.

	this song mentions a garden and failing at becoming god, so i cant help but think maybe it ties into satan or eve or something. both of them wanted to become like god, eve wanted wisdom, satan wanted power, and they were punished for it. just a thought....for all i know none of their lyrics have anything to do with anything biblical...

	The sirens are calling for me Saved my soul thinking "This song's a lie" Sand on the shore is so dry This is about longin for something dangerous - the sea, where the writer feels that he belongs - with the sirens, which song calls for him. but he refuses the song, and the sea, despite the fact that he belongs there - and that is because the siren's song are dangerous. it is like with love, it can hurt us, it is dangerous, but we longs for it still.
