E|-3------5------2------3------|
alright.. i can't tell what the guitars actually do in the background,
it's so soft and faint.. so just play this for now, it's what the bass
plays, it'll sound fine. if anyone else can tell what the guitars do
in the background, please let me know!
CHORUS (guitar 1):
e|---------|-----------------|

A|------------------------|-------------------|
E|------------------------|-------------------|
^play this twice
i'm pretty sure these should be harmonics but i can't
figure 'em out.. hehe. i suck!
POST-CHORUS AFTER FIRST CHORUS ONLY (guitar 2):
e|---|
B|---|
G|-7-|
D|-0-| just figure out the rhythm and play
A|---| under guitar 1, it shouldn't stick out too much.
E|---|
play verse again
then pre-chorus
then chorus
BRIDGE (guitar 1):
e|-----------------------------------------|
B|-----10---8-7-----7-8---------10---8-7---|

A|-----------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------|
BRIDGE (guitar 2):
e|--------------|
B|--------------|
G|--------------|
D|--------------| play 3 times
A|-5h7--9--7--5-|
E|--------------|
it sounds like there is a note being strummed on the
open D string.. so i'm confused now. maybe my "guitar 1" is
actually jeremy on the keyboard.. who knows?
play pre-chorus
--but stop the sound right when he sings "cause you are the only one"
and then come back in again.
chorus
And I'm sure you can figure out the rest from there. What a GREAT SONG!!!! Nine Days
is so amazing... I'll try and tab some more of their stuff. Most of their songs actually
have really complicated guitar parts... so I'll see what I can do. Please e-mail me
with any corrections, additions, etc..

| There is realy no secret behind it. It's an up-front love song. Think..."Cause you are the only one"...it shouldn't be too hard to understand. You should b flattered....it reminds me of my girlfriend so...;-) | |

| People need to stop thinking literally about this song. Obviously the song is addressing a woman that he wants to be with. Much of the song deals with time being lost ("fading" and whatnot) but even as he may be emotionally losing her, he continues to show his love and is trying to tell her that he will continue to get better for her. Overall it is a way of saying: "I love you, stay with me, we are only going to get better". | |

| Honestly, at first, it seems kinda gross. But if you read into it enough times, you can "hear" the real meaning behind it. By the way, what is the real meaning behind it? lol, i have no idea. Some guy told me that it reminds him of me, and how he feels about me, and I don' t know wether to be flattered or totall grossed out and turned off. Thanks! | |
