| One of the better songs on Don't Believe the Truth and one of my favorites off of it, the beginning guitar is surprising and wonderful. This is a great song to listen to when you want to relax and not pay too much attention to the lyrics, but ironically it has some of the best Oasis lyrics I've ever heard- they are just so inspirational and uplifting. I think it's ridiculous when people say that Noel shouldn't let the other band members write lyrics to their songs because this one has some fantastic lines, my favorite being "The world's as wide as your life is thin, so entertain your goals...", which is truly one inspirational line especially the way Liam sings it. This song is about that point in your life when you're sick of the way you are and the way things are and wanting to change, but not being overly forceful about it and just letting life take its course. This song is saying that things will be okay and things won't always be negative if you are patient and gradually let life come to you instead of forcing change upon yourself. | |

| Great song. Oasis has always been great. Use to see Standing on the Shoulder as a sub par album now its my favorite one. DBTT is amazing too with this song on it. | |

| This is very much like the beatles 'revolver' in the same vein that the songs are approximately 3 minutes in length. I'd have prefered it to have been 4 and a half minutes to constitute an Oasis song, but it's a great melody. It picks up the theme of "stop crying your heart out" with lyrics like "the sun will shine on you again". Probably the fourth best song from Don't believe the truth. | |
