	I think the earlier analysis were spot on from where I’m sitting. Noel thinking about love, or a girl. I think maybe he’s trying to saying something is too good to be true, the was at the end “I realise just what you are, You're an idler's dream”. Seems to be saying something along those lines perhaps? Shortdude you must be American. Firstly because of your spelling of realises and secondly because of your comments about god. Although there are a LOT of religious terms used in the song, I think they are all figurative. Noel is a Catholic I think, so could well be religious. I just don’t think Noel would tackle religion this way, if at all. The song might be meaningless, just put together. Who cares I suppose, it’s good!

	It's about idealism. Song's called Idler's Dream. Idler = lazy person(importance of being idle). Dreaming of perfection. Realizes that it's something that you can't find. In a person, perhaps even God. The song very well could be about God. The concept of God/Heaven being an "Idler's dream" "I never prayed because it was just no good".... It's not about anybody specific, more about an ideal.

	This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I have all the Oasis sheet music books except Heathen Chemistry and I wish they had this for piano :(...hopefully they'll release another b-sides album like Masterplan with this on it and so release a piano sheet for this in the process...

	It seems to me one of Noel's closest friends/lovers died "i'll meet you on a day that never ends i'll greet you in a way that heaven meant" and that he wish he could of said the things he wanted to "i never did say that i wish i could"

	Well, I don't really feel like discussing the meaning, but I think it is a just a grand song. At first I found it quite corny and odd for Noel Gallagher to write a song like this but it has grown on me. I think it is a just a very cute love song. My two fav parts are when he sings "I don't sream out load and wake up on my own".......and "your singing shangri la". The back up vocals come in and it sounds so tender with lot's of love. That part get's me. Should have been on an album, but they probably left it off because, come on! it's Oasis. They have to still live up to the bad boy image of not caring about love, and being all tough.
