although no one can play the Beatles better than the Beatles, i think Oasis do a really good job at playing this song and keep in mind that it is a live version, The Beatles themselves never even attempted to play this one live because it was too hard

The Beatles' version sucked, even if it was the original. Oasis just added some much-needed energy to the song.

the cool thing about this 12 inch 45(if you can get the origional) is that if you play it on 33 it sounds awesome. i always felt the song was too speeded up, but on 33 its a trip in itself and you can get into the guitar stuff a lot better. but beats the origional? no way--you have to watch the video from Magical Mystery Tour to see how out-there they were in those days--long live the 60s

Or maybe the Beatles didn't play this live because it was released in 1967 and they played their last tour in 1966.
