It can't have been on a song from Hindu Times, as Stay Young was on The Masterplan, which was released before Hindu Times. It was on the D You Know What I Mean? single from Be Here Now. I think it may be against organised religion and instead of listening to their laws, just do what you want. Consider this in Feed your head with all the things you need When you're hungry Stay in bed and sleep all day as long as it's Sunday Cos they'll put words into your mouth they're making you feel so ashamed

Maybe the reason Noel hates Stay Young is shown in the later b-side Just Getting Older (think it was on Hindu Times) Put simply Noel isn't staying young and he's not invincible. Still a class song though.

This song is simply about youth, and how we should enjoy every part of it because sooner or later, you'll grow up without really wanting to and most of that fun and joy disappears after time. To make a long story short, enjoy your youth while you have can.

I think this song istn't necessarily about being youth but about keeping the attitude you had when you were young, feeling good about yourself and not caring about the ones that try to put you down..It's also about living your life the way you want to instead of spending your life worrying about what others say or do and having self esteem. It's so simple and catchy, yet it's one of these songs that make you want to become a happier, better person!

This is about the most rockin' anthem for the world's youth that I've ever heard. It just plain pounds away -- when it's over you're left feeling excited about yourself. "Hey! Stay young and invincible! Cos' we know just what we are!" That is so damn good. It makes you look back at your teenage years and say, "Hey, you know what? I wasn't such a loser! I was cool, and I was one of a billion kids who have one thing in common -- we're young!"

Definitely a pick-me-up when you feel like your life totally sucks. Youth is definitely a good thing, not only because we feels invincible but on top of that it means that we will out live all the assholes trying to keep us down.

Yeah, "rock n roll rule" dude was right with what he said. He just misunderstood what I said (probably didn't make it clear) The tune "Just Getting Older" was a b-side to "Hindu Times" (I think). I was just comparing the two tunes

I have heard Noel say he hates this song but I can't figure out why he would. I agree with most of the sentiments here that it is a great anthem like most of Oasis' songs. Even their more melancholy songs make you feel good.
