	This song is obviously about him killing someone. He describes the approach: "Moving, I am moving closer to your side Luring, you are luring me into the night Crying, who is crying for you here Dying, I am dying fast inside your tears Plunging towards bereavement faster yet Clearing thoughts, my mind is set" Then, he sets up for the kill: "Devious movements in your eyes Moved me from relief Breath comes out white clouds with your lies And filters through me You're close to the final word You're staring right past me in dismay A liquid seeps from your chest And drains me away Mist ripples round your thin white neck And draws me a line Cold fingers mark this dying wreck This moment is mine Help me, cure you Atone for all you've done Help me, leave you As all the days are gone " Then he does it: "Night fall again Taking what's left of me Slight twist, shivering corpse Ornated with water, fills the cracks Clasped in my lims by tradition This is all you need" And he watches as their tears fill their wounds as they die, "clasped in my lim[b]s by tradition".

	Steve Wilson from Porcupine Tree sings "Devious movement in your eyes" alone, then does a duet with Mike on the "moved me from relief" part, except for all the clean verses. Live now, I've heard Per does the "Devious movement" etc parts, and Mike and Per do the duet, since Per's vocal range is just under Wilson's (I've heard that Wilson is a low tenor)

	I really dont belive this is about killing somone, and I do agree with Snothebest. The whole Blackwatter park album has a story to it like MAYH, And I belive its about 2 people being trapped in there home through the winter and they have a really bad disease like a lerpersy type disease and one of them its kinda rotting away or somthing like that. "Fading, you are fading from my sight " this would show that the person is dieing. duh "Mist ripples round your thin white neck" This might mean that the disease is making the person thin and pale. "A liquid seeps from your chest" Possibly somthing like puss or body fluids caused by the disease. I also think the dieing person or the other person is going paranoid thus "Devious movements in your eyes" But I could be wrong. But I also heard else where that it was about a disease too.

	naw, I agree this song is definetly about killing someone I think. That line "who is crying for you here?" kinda gives it away I think. Anyway, killer song. The breaks are the end with clean vocals are so melodic and beautiful it hurts. Then when he comes in screaming again all of a sudden...wow. This song hits like a brick. Love it. Rock on.

	I don't think it's a concept album, no...but perhaps there is a running theme. Maybe it's like Nevermore's DREAMING NEON BLACK; separate songs that are all thoughts and stories related to a single character, yet through sections of each song, we learn what has been happening in that person's life.

	Mikael has said that "To Bid You Farewell" is all about his girlfriend cheating on him. I think that he worked through the pain of this with his music in other songs. I think that songs like "The Leper Affinity" and "Bleak" are his way of venting his anger towards the person who broke his heart.
