	i think you guys are looking on the darker side. you believe that "gone" means dead, how do you know that it isnt about a girlfriend leaving him, or being forced to move away from his great friend. you dont know thats just the thing. i dont mean to be critisizing for you ideas, i think that they are all good ideas, but you should start knowing that songs about people leaving arent always about death or suicide. anyways i thik that this song is about a person who had a really good friend that something happened too. whether it be death or just moving away, that person is gone, and he cant do a thing about it. he then goes back on the times they've spent together and how much fun they had.

	This song is about Bradley Nowell, the late vocalist/guitarist from Sublime. OPM and Sublime were friends and part of the whole SoCal music scene in the 90's

	a friend who od'd to me - "Don't be ashamed Of who you were Of how you died " and Now people put you down For the way that you lived show this i think - it's about coming to terms with it and also understanding the risks in drug culture. i love the song anyway
