| i actually used this song as additional material for my HSC english exam and made a comparison with this poem called "the road not taken"...pretty much what i understood was the idea that life is unpredictable and that choices need to be made, whether you like it or not. its an inner journey (CRINGE) through the mind which is being represented by a physical journey in the song. the understanding that is reached is an acceptance that you don't always have control over what is happening. sounds pretty shitty actually sorry, i've thrown out all my notes and this is all i can think of at the moment... | |
