| Alright. This song is not about drugs, or him being the Antichrist in people's eyes(which is what I first thought it was). If you read the credits, Gets Me Through is dedicated to the fans, that they, as the song says, get him through. They give him the high that he needs to keep on performing, recording, and making me happy.LOL. To quote the credits of 'Down To Earth': 'And most of all, to my loyal fans....I wrote "Gets Me Through as a tribute to all of you. Saying thank you just doesn't seem like enough. | i reckon this song means you shouldnt judge him as an anti-christ and the fans are the ones that he plays for, oh and when he was in black sabbath he released a song called Iron-man, so it was probibly refering to that song. | |

| Ozzy is still the prince of darkness. But you'd be sick of being called the anti-christ or ironman if you weren't. Alot of bands have been dubbed with the satanistic feel. Its been Iron Maiden, Ozzy throughout the 80s Slayer for like forever, Marilyn Manson has been called Satan himself. People just dont get it everyone gets called satanist for their lyrics. I guess thats why they call boy bands fags. You get what you put into the industry i suppose and Ozzy is finally getting more and more recognized | |
