| sdsd Thanks for the Voodoo spell. I think the meaning of the song is purely political - blood pigs, r people on the top of our society. We allow them to lead us, but they only pretend to be human (allusion to how the politicians play with lifes of others seeming not to have any compassion) that's why she's scared. She also says that Art is the only way for her to defeat them or to be free of them or smth. Well, hopefully my analysis wasn't totally stupid... | |

| I think its a stand against authority, or (sorry for the generality) society in general. How it is accepted these days for people to leech off of others, to push each other down to elevate oneself, and the abuse. It's how you grow up trying to do the right thing and you say sorry repeatedly, owning up to the things that was never your fault in the first place. And we've got the Blood Pigs, people who are as low as the name implies, yet we are serving them. We are the ones listening to them and supporting their distorted views. And now that she makes a stand, all they can do is walk away. Back out. Art Saves is the theme and within this she is saying that she used art to rise above them. | |

| yEAH kinda agree with you guys it if you sum up the anti-norm concept with the abuse thing and the blood pigs theme i guess it would be something like .. she kinda saw what everyone was like, what society was like, greeedy pigs, money chasing blood pigs who dont give sht about the rest of the people around. She saw herself as an ugly person towards these maniacsm thats when she was innocent. I think she was also subject to their greed barrage or something in the form of abuse or something. Now after that she changes to be something else..using her fear to empower her hate ( kinda like me) .. to propel her against the norm. NOw the norm is walking away from her, they seem to fear her in a way....kinda think of it ...like the band..how fearsome it is and all the stuff.. she was kinda like saved by metal(saved by poetry) from the blood pigs, now society walks away from her while meTal maggots dig her ( who doesnt??) her life as a slave to the blood pigs was now over. her mistake was trusting the bloodpigs. ( as in pigs which feed on her life) .. saved by art ( she uses poetry in her songs) .. now she cant be hurt anymore .. I think there's also a message for us " and still you feed them" .. I think she wants people to detach from the greed of society which 'destroys the things they dont understand" ...Otep rules...We need more rock gals in the industry ...heavy metal industry ..more vocalblasts .. too.... hate authority..so screwin retardded.. I agree with kid in corner .. if she was ever used the bastards have to get their wrists slit, then get hanged on a bough which extends to the the edge of a bloody river... ( that way we'll see if they drown before they lose their breadth on the loop.... ~SlipMudSwtichLogic~ Slipknot Mudvayne Killswitch Engage DryKill Logic | |
