| it's pretty much coming over your fears, and getting over enemies and what not. Hence the lyric: "you can't hurt me anymore!" And she's pretty much saying that she was once enslaved by the enemy, and she was weak and now she's risen and is greater than ewe Blood Pigs (enemiez).. and just for some fun she says some voodoo spell: 'Map Mangé Ou Sans Sel' which means I will eat you without salt (you've pissed me off I'll eat you, without even bothering to season you) and it's funny.. i love this song.. and i love Ms. Shamaya | |

| This song was what got me listening to Otep in the first place, and it remains one of my favorite Otep songs, nay one of my favorite metal songs. The music video lends even more meaning to the song, as it has flashes of creepy, morbid (and awesome)drawings that look like they were done by a very disturbed child... The fact that, even in the CD booklet, words like "I" are spelled "eye" and so forth, gives the album even more of the feeling that this is about something that happened to the narrator in childhood-- that this abused child is still very much a part of her psyche. This band is brilliant... they manage to be an angry, hardcore death metal band but still have a touch of eloquence in thier music... They're great. ^^ | |
