| Hydrogen, I never have taken a song seriously. I love Otep. They're my favorite band. The only thing I think is wrong is that people put her out to be god, or at least thats what it seems like. And I respect everyones opinion. I'm not trying to put anyone down. If you think she's god more power to you. I was just stating the Jesus thing as a side note, not the main subject. I thank you for bringing your concern with me. I'm trying to get a band together and most of my lyrics sound like Otep. I respect her and the band is one of the most talented bands as of now. | I first heard otep on ozzfest and I've been a fan ever since. It's nice to she a girl in the heavy metal scene. Espcially one that is heavier than a lot of male bands. I love how she can express herself. I personally think that this song is about how her father raped her. ***OtEpSaVeS*** | |

| yes, you can be any race and be a muslim by converting. but her words dont feel muslim. she seems to be interested in ancient egypt, and back then, there were gods and goddesses for different animals, energies, and elements. yeah, she's blonde. has anybody here ever seen them live? i might be seeing them at ozzfest. this song is a masterpeice, as is all of her work. her voice cries out deeper than any male singer i've seen. shes by far the most creative and has her amazing way with words and i have so much respect for her. its so strange to see how few people know of otep. i'm spreadin the wurd of otep. visit their site at: www.otepsaves.com and spread the wurd!!!!!!!!!! | |

| Otep is hot..i just say her on Wednesday at Ozzfest...right up front...i was like 10 feet away from her... anywho...from this song and some others it's obvious she believes in many gods and goddesses......im not a big religion freak so i don't know which it'd be, but it's definitely not christian. DJ DeathBlood....it's all opinion, everyone needs there own beliefs... it's great that you love jesus, but if you take the lyrics to heart and you take them offensively then there is an easy solution...don't listen to it, but you need to be able to listen to music and not take it seriously. If i listened to only music that matched my beliefs...i'd be a very bored individual. I can listen to anything from deicide to whitecross. | |
