umm ///ok ... yeah .. as for the meaning i think it has religious connotations.. considering that it was on the Jihad cd ( holy war) i think she blurts out her angst against islam .. (woman is the devil, your god is a fraud") - like how the women are actually undermined and treated as something to be shameful of .. wrapped in black rainment from head to toe...thats just bad.also the part where she says "you see me as a place to make a bruise " - there are many cases were Islam women have actually spoken against such abuse..a familiar one was aired on CNN and she was like 1 in 1000000 to say stuff against woman abuse inthe middle east.. its pretty sad.. she also continues... :-( .,., "i'm sick of these weak anarchys" there always has to be some anarchiastic movement in the middle-east just like the middle east thing ... and in the end she concludes that "your god is a fraud" .. anyway thats what I think it means. Now that I've thought on this wavelength i think I can sum up the entire meaning of the song.. "everyone you knew everything you've ever done suffer for your freedom rise and overcome" I think she's encouraging women to rise and overcome the static abuse that is going on ... "fuck these hypocrites, and together will fight" .. its a fight for freedom against such sicktwisted ideas.. well something like that . anyway I hope I didnt go off course... if you think so ..then pls do come up with a better sentiment with logical reasoning .. anyway ..my allegience remains to Slipknot Mudvayne KillswitchEngage DryKillLogic dont get me wrong .. Disturbed rocks... otep fans should also try Samael ..very cryptic and dark.. ( not as powerful as Otep's powerdeathmetal..)

Also....the correct lyrics I believe are "the lord is my weapon, I shall shoot pawns, woman is the devil, your god is a fraud, everything you knew, everything you've ever done, suffer for your freedom, OR DIE BY THE LAW.". This song has also been called "GOD IS A FRAUD" which is NOT the correct title. just thought I would point some things out. ps. this song kicks ass.

This song was titled "The Lord Is My Weapon" on the Jihad EP, but the title was changed to Sacrilige on the release of the full CD, known as 'Sevas Tra'. I just thought I'd note that in order to avoid confusion.

I just heard of this band, my friend went to ozzfest and said they rocked...she sounds pretty cool. Their music doesnt give the goosebumps (thats a good thing), but it sounds good. This song has a great meaning behind it..its kinda sad though. Jessicka from jack off jill has a better scream...its more melodic and graceful...lol, if thats possible. The lead singer of otep has aggression in hers, and that also rocks. i wish i could scream singing like they do, i have lots i wanna get out.
