Title: A Story About A Girl
Album: Gravity

This is a great emo song off 'Gravity'.
I think it oughta be their next single.

b(no.) = Bend note to match pitch of (no.)
r = release bent note to original pitch
h = Hammer on
p = Pull off
x = Fret Hand mute
/ = Slide down

Guitar 2 (Dirty/distorted electric) plays the verse twice.
I'll update this tab for the rest of the song soon, cuz i'm not a good
lead guitar player, and this song has too many licks going in the background.
Also, there's a solo somewhere, so I'll need more time. But you can survive
with these parts for now!

| i love this song. the majority of the album has a "shit happens but it all turns out peachy in the end." but not this one. it just leaves u. and i like that. i think its more uplifting than the happy ending songs anyhow. how depressing is it when you're having a shitty day/week/life, and u listen to a song about a person who had a shitty time too, but now they're all better, and youre still fucked?? he's acknowledging that shes strong. he says "these feelings have to end" but he doesnt say they are going to. its all about empathy. its not pessimistic, not optimistic. its just realistic. and thats refreshing. | |

| stop... just stop... stop with the caps lock, please. JxVirgo is right. people, please use correct grammar, or at least try your hardest to. as far as GCrocks's comment... *WELL SORRY!! if you are a REAL our lady peace fan you would find it hard to pick your fav. song to THERE IS JUST TO DAMN MANY GOOD ONES!!!*... it seriously pained me to read that. first of all, i'm guessing that you, GCrocks, think that you are the only "REAL" our lady peace fan here. may i state that you are wrong. you probably only heard about OLP after 'gravity' came out, you damn trend whore. and i'm also guessing that you started liking GC after 'lifestyles' came out. once again; trend whore. i'm so sick of you fair weather 'fans' coming in here saying that you are so-and-so's biggest fan, when you basically know only their most famous song. so many 'true' fans have been following OLP for years. for instance, i have loved OLP since their demo was released. do you know how long ago that was? so please do not come in here and make comments on what "REAL" fans should/should not like. i am a very strong fan and i happend to have my favorite OLP songs, and then i have my least favorites. i can admit when OLP has a bad song. i don't need to be like you and say that "THERE IS JUST TO DAMN MANY GOOD ONES!!!" just to seem like i am a all mighty fan of this band. so shut the fuck up and go back to fingering GC's vaginal music. i'm suprised that you haven't used "ROFL; RAWK; LOLLOLLOLLOL; KEWL" or any other annoying poseur terms in your incoheirent speeches. seriously, i could make more sense typing with my penis (if i had one). peace out. | |

| I think this song is about a girl that's going through a really rough time in her life; so hard that she can barely get out of bed. She's so miserable that she can barely breathe, but he's telling her that she will be able to get through it and that he will always be there for her. | |
