Our Lady Peace - ARE YOU SAD (Spiritual Machines)
Tabbed by: Penky
Email: penkyismyhero@homtail.com
Tuning: Drop-D, 1/2 step down (Db-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-eb) (All OLP songs are a half
step down, Drop-D isn't nessesary, but that is how the acoustic is played so
this makes it simpilar)
"Are You Sad" is a great song by Our Lady Peace, then again ALL their songs are
awesome. Nobody had the electric lead riff tabbed correctly, so i figured it out.
This is accurate, i am positive. Play along to the song and you'll get it in no time.
Enjoy!

| This song is one of my favs from OLP. You guys talk about Raine Maida.....it's a band. Our Lady Peace, if it wasn't for his other people. It would be called Raine Maida. or Michael Maida, Raine sounds better. But, it's about someone in the hospital, who is about to die. And it seems that the person is trying to make up for lost time. In a such a short notice and telling people. Live life as if it's your last........ | |

| i think this is about losing someone to depression when you lose someone to suicide, it's like you can do nothing to help them 'stop pretending when they say you're nothing' someone is obviously bothered by insults/etc. from other people trying to help someone but watching them slip away | |

| I love this song so much, it's gotten me through some rough, rough time. Chantal and Raine are still very much together guys. I don't know where you get the gay stuff from. | |

| i got this cd a lil while after i went thru a deep depression. the first time i heard 'life' it made me cry, but the first time i heard this song it made me remember all the pain i went thru. i was locking myself in my room, and keeping to myself, i couldn't beileve how much i could relate to this song. i love it and hate it at the same time, and it sums up everything i was feeling in a few lines. thank you olp. Īmusic can helpĪ :) | |

| When I saw them live around the time this cd had out they played this song and Raine said this song was about his wife. I am not sure how they are now,but he just stated that this song was about her. I can see where this would ring true. She might be sad since he spends time out on tour and she might worry with all those groupies or something. | |

| I *love* this song so much...It makes me in a mellow mood, and the other day I was feeling sad, and I listened to it...and it just made me feel good. I love it. Raine is excellent, and I can't wait until the concert on the 15th. Wow, I hope they play this song. Its one of my faves. | |
