| i think "blister" is a song about war from a soldiers perspective. The person in this song is being forced into combat, but they feel as though they cannot protest and refuse to fight because it is their patriotic duty- "no one listens, but im ok with it." "patrolling for enemies" "im waited for, they're at my door". The soldier is basically divulging their inner thoughts on war and fighting, he is scared, cold, and lonely- but he promises to return "but i'll be back again" | |

| iLOVEyouTASHA's description of the song really makes the most sense to me, maybe because that's sorta what I feel like. I don't know, but there isn't a single OLP song I don't love. | |

| from this song i see someone being chased down for a crime they did not do("Waiting, they're chasing me"). something they were framed for. the person was put in handcuffs ( "if only my hands werent tied") and they try to tell the truth but no one will listen and he sees he cant get out of this("No one listens but I'm ok with it ") | |

| I really embrace the mentally ill theory. It all falls into place. I think another subtle hint would be when Raine says "don't touch me", and "don't trust me" before each chorus, it almost sounds like voices in your head, if you're wearing headphones especially. | |

| To me this song is about someone who is mentally disturbed. Lately I can't breathe Waiting, they're chasing me No one listens but I'm ok with it I think this means something like his disturbed thoughts are chasing him, and he trys to get help, but no one belives him. What if I was scared I'm waiting for... They're at my door But I'll be back again... The people at the door are psychitrists who came to take him away to get help. You wonder why I don't know You shout at me let me go This seams like people see him so sick, and they wonder why, but he cant explain it It ends optimistically because of the line "i'll be back again" He's gone to get help, and he knows he'll come back better. | |

| Considering how Raine has really never written about relationships or breaking up, I would throw my support behind the mentally-ill story, or being in an asylum or something. | |

| I think that it's about a troubled person who is tryin to tell someone what's wrong with him. And no one listens, but he's okay because that's the world he's used to. Kinda like he's a teenager stuck with parents who treat him unfairly, and he can't get out, and he's trying his best to be with this person, but can' so the world is a blister. It's a story of a boy in love with a girl that he can't be with, due to his parents. | |

| it seems like he knows the world to be unaccepting. He seems extremely confident but at the same time extremely unsure in himself, where he knows that he's different and is defying the conformity, yet is scared to take the step forward at that moment, but will eventually. It's like him vs. everyone else. if this makes sense...? | |
