That should be enough to get you started. Listen to the song to know
when to play each riff.........it should be pretty apparent. If you
have any questions, comment, corrections, or additions feel free to
e-mail them to me.

| I kinda thought of it as some friend who's really fucked up, and about how raine (or whoever) doesn't really like him/her but knows that no matter what, he's gonna be the only one who'll let him in... I think it's about being stuck with an un-wanted friend... I'm probably wrong too... but it's a cool song to scream with... | |

| This song is completely about speed drug days. from fucking it all up, rushing to meditate (getting high), knowing that I should've ate. Never being able to walk away from the dope, but still trying to hide it from everyone thinking that they didn't need to know. Wondering about the past is something I do frequently, my bad memory follows me around. The good times never seem to last, the high never lasted. | |

| I agree with iahvenoname that it's about drugs. I just have to add this bit in: 'Why are you shaking? Why are you right? When I will be the only one who gives, and lets you in tonight.' I think Raine displays a degree of releculancy with these words. He's saying 'I keep telling you drugs are no way to live.' Yet, his friend always comes to him, shaking on his high, asking for a place to stay. And Maida's saying 'I give you a place to stay, would it be too much for you to listen to me in return?' 'So, you wonder about the past, well you know that it's already been. Nothing seems to last. Can it last, will it last?' The drug addict is looking at the past, and he was loaded for so much of it, the past doesn't seem real. Nothing in his life is constant, so why bother trying to get cleaned up, because nothing seems concrete. | |

| I think this song is about a person who has screwed up a lot in his past, and everyone has turned their backs on him. He never thinks of anything but the problems he has and has had. and raine's saying "hey don't worry. you've got a friend in me" and then the second verse is like the person hates being on the outside, but he can't leave it. He's just drawn to it. Raine says to keep quiet- no one has to know everything bad from your past. then at the end the person is reflecting on his past and wondering if this new friendship could possibly last. It's fairly self-explanatory heh | |
