Lyrics:
Oh, Johnny wishes he was famous
Spends his time alone in the basement
With a Lennon and Cobain and
A guitar and a stereo
And while he wishes he could escape this
But it all seems so contagious
Not to be yourself and faceless
In a song that has no soul
I remember feeling low
I remember losing hope
And I remember all the feelings and the day they stopped
We are, we are all innocent
We are all innocent
We are, we are...
We are, we are all innocent
We are all innocent
We are, we are...
Oh, and Tina losing faith in what she knows
Hates her music, hates all of her clothes
Thinks of surgery and a new nose
Every calorie's a war
And while she wishes she was a dancer
And that she'd never heard of cancer
She wishes God would give her some answers
And make her feel beautiful
I remember feeling low
I remember losing hope
I remember all the feelings and the day they stopped
We are, we are all innocent
We are all innocent
We are, we are...
We are, we are all innocent
We are all innocent
We are, we are...
One day, you'll have to let it go
You'll have to let it go
No...
One day, you'll stand up on your own
You'll stand up on your own
Remember losing hope
Remember feeling low
Remember all the feelings and the day they stopped
We are, we are all innocent
We are all innocent
We are, we are...
We are, we are all innocent
We are all innocent
We are, we are...
We are (one day), we are all innocent
We are all innocent (you'll have to let it go)
We are, we are (you'll have to let it go, no..)
We are (one day), we are all innocent
We are, we are (you'll stand up on your own)
We are, we are all innocent (you'll stand up on your own..)
We are, we are all innocent

| Hmm.. Makes me wonder if any of ya'll are true OLP fans. Honestly, do you think Gravity is their best work? Especially this song, it's horrible. The verses and music to the song is great, but please, could they have thought of something esle for the chours? This song to me, was made to be catchy.. and the chours is perfect for it, I guess this OLP's way for getting a catchy song that can go big and bring in the bucks. (haha) I love Our Lady Peace, and the reason I fe;l in love with them was because of their lyrics and how they related to me, or life, or just because they were good, interesting lyrics. But Honestly, Innocent.. Give the song a rating .. 1-10 What is it? For The OLP Fans, I'm not ditching OLP at all, they are my favorite band. This song just disappoints me. =O) | |

| Our Lady Peace has been my favorite band since I was 14, and I am dissapointed with Gravity. This song is one of the worst. When I first heard "Life", that was pretty bad, but this is worse. It might as well be called "Life v. 2.0". The new CD as a whole is much less thought out lyrically and manufactured to appeal to the mass public. Not that Our Lady Peace doesn't deserve to be popular with the mass public. I just think it's sad that they had to lessen the intensity of their music to accomplish it. And don't you dare tell me they haven't lessened their intensity. There is no way in hell you can listen to "Naveed" and then listen to "Gravity" and still honestly think that. | |

| well said rb , even if the band does start getting way more play and their songs do become a little more "mainstream" doesn't mean that the new listeners like the band any less than anyone else. olp plays music for everyone to enjoy regardless of what songs they like the best, so i don't think there is a need to doubt anyone here is a "true olp fan", although i do agree that this song is poor for our lady peace, call me callous, but i don't really like the song, there are alot just like it out there | |

| Our Lady Peace is the greatest band I've ever heard. I relate to their music, I love their sound, and I find their lyrics amazingly deep and meaningful. Perhaps they have gone a little more 'mainstream' but what is that? It's someone in the US hearing a song that is catchy. Nickelback was catchy, POD was catchy, Default too. It doesnt take away from the message or the feelings because everyone else likes it now too. Sure the old skool OLP Fans feel like they discovered OLP and this is their music, but OLP if they have to go 'mainstream' to get the credit they deserve for putting together amazing music both lyrically and musically for almost a decade. Let em do it, they earned it. This song still has meaning, I love this song, and I've loved OLP this I was 13 years old in grade 7. True OLP Fans should be happy that Our Lady Peace might finally go where they belong. To the top of the charts, and to the hearts of fans everywhere. I mean we've already lost all of our other 'underground' Canadian bands... lets give the damn USA one more eh | |

| So, let me get this straight. You think that those who listen to these new OLP songs, because they are catchy, aren't true OLP fans? You're an idiot if you do. Why? They make the music, not you, and you're accusing them of selling out. Wouldn't that make you NOT a "true" OLP fan? I certainly think so. Sure, yes, this stuff isn't as "intense" as say, Naveed, or Clumsy, but so what? It still carries a meaning. Just because the chorus is just the repetition of the same line, doesn't mean it was 'crafted' or 'designed' to be catchy. Maybe you didn't think of this, probably not of course, but you know, it could just be repetitive to enforce the meaning of the line. Repetition is a very important poetical device. OLP uses it in alot of their songs, before Gravity. Think about what you say before you say it. | |

| all i said was 'everyone in america will be listening to this,' without further comment on whether or not that is a good thing. the song was written to be catchy, and it is. p.s. - i'd take a thousand screaming teenyboppers over the pretension and arrogance of one who thinks they're 'elite' for listening to 'underground' music. there is an extraordinary amount of good 'underground' music, but that doesn't mean that everything 'mainstream' is inherently bad, or that one is better than someone 'far too consumed with music they don't have to think about' just because they listen to 'non-mainstream' stuff. | |
