| this sounds like how i feel about my old best friend...about realizing i could never count on him ("you could never be more than deceiving") and about learning to not dwell on missing him ("now i'm not thinking things about you.") but mostly the line about the things you never say...such a keen observation. as many things as he said that drove me crazy, it drove me MORE crazy that he DIDN'T say how much i meant to him...then in the end how i won't regret calling him out on it after we fell out, and how it's okay to let it go and see him as a part of the past that wasn't meant to last forever. i adore the keyboard part, and it makes the song fun, so that feeling these things can be positive and not totally bitter. | |

| Another perfect Ozma song. Possibly my favorite. This just strikes me as that point where you're forcing yourself to get over someone and you're starting to gain confidence in yourself that you can do it. "I won't regret what I said"..but you still have that weakness. The beauty of this song is def. not just the lyrics...but that the music starts off fast and funky..and then slows down, gets more serious as the lyrics get more insecure and reflective. ...and p.s. if you haven't heard Wesley Willis...download now..bizarre stuff. | |

| ya, these are some good lyrics. Trying to get over someone. He knows that he has been wronged, and there is no good reason to date her, but if she ever called, he'd take her back | |
