Ok this song is played with two guitars but I transcribed most of it for just one guitar.

Tuning: Eb

(Barely even hit the eB and Bb strings throughout the whole song)

Intro/Verse

eb|----------------3--------------------|
Bb|-1----1----1----1----1---------------|
Gb|-0----0----0----0----0---------------|
Db|-0h2--0----2----2----0----x2--then---|
Ab|-3----3----3----3----3---------------|
Eb|-------------------------------------|

eb|---------------------3----------------------------|
Bb|-0----0h1--0----1----1----0----in intro ----0-----|
Gb|-0----2----2----2----2----2----and before---2-----|
Db|-0----2----2----2----2----2----chorus just--2-----|
Ab|-2----0----0----0----0----0----play---------0-----|
Eb|--------------------------------------------------|

In the verse play the Abm hammer on part twice(You'll know what Im talking about when
hear the song).

Chorus-Ok you can play either the Dbm or Dbm(7)(Which is Db minor with a minor 7th not
minor 7th) as the first chord. Personally, I think the Dbm(7) sounds better.

Chorus/Ending
eb|-1------3-------------------------------1------3----|
Bb|-1-----(3)-----1----0----1--------------1-----(3)---|
Gb|-2------0------0----0----2--------------2------0----|
Db|-0------0------2----0----2---x4--then----------0----|
Ab|--------2------3----2----0---------------------2----|
Eb|--------3--------------------------------------3----|

You can also play the power chords here(Which I think they do for the last chorus)

eb|----------------------------------------------------|
Bb|----------------------------------------------------|
Gb|-7-------------5----5----2--------------7-----------|
Db|-7------5------5----5----2---x4--then---7------5----|
Ab|-5------5------3----2----0--------------5------5----|
Eb|--------3--------------------------------------3----|

Ok here is the little keyboard, guitar, and bass riff they play at different periods of
song.

eb|--------------------------------------------------|
Bb|--------------------------------------------------|
Gb|--------------------------------------------------|
Db|-10-9-10--7--5--3--5--2--7--5--7--2--0-----(2)--0-|
Ab|----------------------------------------3---------|
Eb|--------------------------------------------------|

(The bass plays that Eb note near the end of the song but the keyboard and guitar don't)

Bridge/Solo
eb|-------------1----------------1-------|
Bb|-1-----------1----------------1-------|
Gb|-2--2--4--5--2----------------2-------|
Db|-2-----------3—then upstroke--3-------|
Ab|-0-----------3----------------3-------|
Eb|-------------1----------------1-------|

You can also play the bridge like this

eb|--------------------1----------------1-----|
Bb|-1------------------1----------------1-----|
Gb|-2------2--4--5-----2----------------2-----|
Db|-2------2--4--5-----3—then upstroke--3-----|
Ab|-0------0--2--3-----3----------------3-----|
Eb|--------------------1----------------1-----|

(Because this is only for 1 guitar I didn't put the solo in but if you have two guitars
you want to play it just play some notes in the scale of Abm)

I love this song so much. It's so nice. I agree with the midlife crisis thing, but it always makes me think of summer holidays. =)

no comments?!? its a great song i think it can be interpreted in 2 different ways.. One as a midlife crisis realizing your loyalty to the work place has gotten you no where in life but a nice office and a good view of the big buisness world. or two as a metaphor to an unraveling, dissolving relationship.
