| i hate how people throw bands like P.O.D. in a big "loud scary music" catagory. they don't look at the lyrics and don't appriciate that the band is trying to send a message, like all the great artists out there. | |

| I think P.O.D. wrote that to express their feelings about tragedies | |

| Actually, In My Opinion, which varies from your guys prospective. It is about the way peoples lifes are and that there is more to life than this world. It seems like there isn't. But there is. And i can believe that if a band preaches about Jesus it is duped down because of that part, but if a band preaches about the Devil or something(worshiping satan or something)..they let it go and call it cool.. this world is twisted. And God is the only thing keeping people sane. That is my opinion | |

| ok, time for a contraversial opinion. I don not wish to condone the tradgedies that have occured in the US bt come on, those things dnt happen on a regular basis. Just like every death from ecstacy, the frequency of these occurances is very low, however, those that do occur are so well publisised that people get a biased opinion. Why are parents the object of your hatred. Obviously, there are always exceptional cases where parents are neglectful or just fucking nasty, bt everyone knows that as a teenager, being angry / upset / misunderstood is "cool", even if no-one is willing to say it. Kids make up things to be angry about or they exagerate for effect. It's ok cos it's part of growing up and develloping a sense of self/ individuality. However, no one ever gives the other side of the argument, and it needs to be heard. | |

| It goes beyond shootings that is only one part of the song it shows how screwed up or system is. No one ever really looked at it from the person being shot's point of view they always looked at the shooter. When it comes to it they may have killed so many people but they damaged every life in that school but off that subject. Kids are extremely cruel and its all of our faults. None of us take five mintues away to look at a child but when they're gone its like they knew they were wrong and realize hoe much they miss them. Children are the greatest factor in the U.S. now since our bullshit politics are no where and helping every other damn group out except us. But hell we all die and when we do atleast 1 of us will be missed. | |

| I have to agree that the mesage of this song couldn't get any more clearer. Every day thousands of kids (in the U.S. alone) suffer from self esteem. All because their parents are too damn busy living a selfish life, not taking a single minute to become an actual friend to their kids and helping them solve their problem. Lack of attection is so on the dot! It's Unfortunate such tragedies had to happen. But all that ocoures with our kids today is a wake up call to every person that it's time to open up your blind eyes and see what's really going on. Like he says in the song; "It’s the blind leading the blind". This isn't the damn 50's anymore, where if the kid had a problem, then you couldn't tell the parents because it shows weakness. The real weakness is when you can't open up your eyes to reveal the trueth. Ok, sorry for the long mesage. I'll stop here or else I'll keep going for ever. Thanks! | |

| This is about the only pod song I can stand basically becuz they are not preaching. The song is about something more important than religion. Its about the shitty lives kids have to live from shitty parents to shitty high school. And people are so surprised when a kid shoots up a school, horseshit, it just means they arent paying much attention. | |
