You'd better listen to a man who knows what he's saying.

Live in the past, we make it last, a hated mass No solution, mind
polution, for revolution.

(Play 2nd half of intro for chorus)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
So low , behold my eyes,
This land of fools will rise.
No good, for no one,
No good, for no one.

2nd verse ( repeat TAB as above)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
You blame the oppession and play the role of criminals,
To rape and burn, progress is minimal.
White hoods and militants, you know it's such a pity,
Living, breathing, violence in your city.

If one man, had one home, in one world,
He'd live alone without variety, full of anxiety,
No one to point at, question or even talk to in his private grave
No matter what color, he wouldn't be saved from hell, he dwells,
A closed mind playing the part of prison cells.

Pre-chorus

I don't see how it's against racism. Racism simply means noticing differences between races. That's not a bad thing. Every race notices differences between themselves and other races. He says "You blame oppression and play the role of criminals To rape and burn show progress is minimal" Blacks blame oppression to justify killing, raping and stealing. And it shows all the programs thrown into the black community have not progressed. KKK and other white parties aren't known for raping... but you can go to the FBI site and see that even though blacks are 12% of population in USA, they rape at a staggering RATE of 4.4 times HIGHER than whites. Is "oppression" really reason for rape? How do you explain that?

It's not the weakest at all. If I had to choose a weakest from the VDOP album, I'd go for "By Demons Be Driven". But I'm a die hard Pantera fan and I don't like to put down any song. I can honestly say I don't dislike any Pantera songs. Anyways... Yeah, the lyrics are definately about racism. When I first heard it I knew straight away it was a statement about racism. How shitty and fucked up it is. It's really well written and to be honest, probably the best anti-racism song I've ever heard.
