Wow do you know that or is it your opinion. I can see how that is true though. Great song, it's on the Heavy Metal2000 Soundtrack.

think of countries where war has bee a part of everyday life for generations, like in africa or the middle east or the baltic countries. the people there are used to it, and after GENERATIONS of it, they know nothing else. they dont know what peace is even like

This song has a strong southern gothic feeling. Phil wrote the lyrics in a very descriptive and even surreal way, I like it very much.
