people know your history straight. first of all "medicine man" is a word that is offensive to some native american tribes. a "medicine man", if i'm correct, is a person that(yes with medicine) that heals but also using magic. There is actually more to it but thats all i know.

it`s not about the devil..it`s about drugdealers, and addicts and how they so easily manipulates you in to doing drugs, and how easy it`s for old addicts to get hooked again->"Just one taste and you'll be back And by the high you'll swear"

The devil's heart With angel's words... you are so high and you feel so good, but yet you feel SO BAD.. and when the drugs come off, you just feel bad. if you have taken ecstasy you understand that one.

Yeah, a medicine man is the guy who heals in a tribe, but that doesn't really fit the lyrics here. I mean, read the lines: "The devil's heart With angel's words" Drugs are bad for your health but it's easy getting addicted. Very easy. "Have you wondered what heaven's like? He can show you in one night" Seems to me like those lines are about psychotropic hallucinogens. "Once proud and fearless men With desire in their eyes Lost strong and fruitful lives To self-indulgent ties Their souls were dipped in venom And put into a box Then placed upon a crowded shelf Where countless souls now rot" That whole verse is about addiction and how it consumes you.

Sure, it's about drug dealers and the effects drugs can have on you. It's a very well written lyric, though.
