Paolo Nutini These Streets Guitar Tab

Paolo Nutini's excelent song!
Kind of finished the job on that other one. Lazy work on that chord!
Try using a capo on some of the first frets! ;D
[D] [F#m] [G] [A]
Cross the border, into the big bad world
[D] [F#m]
Where it takes you about an hour just to cross the road,
[G] [A]
Just to stumble across another poor old sole,
[D] F#m]
From the dreary old lanes to the High St madness,
[G] [A]
I fight with my brain to believe my eyes
[D] [F#m]
And it's harder than you think to believe this sadness,
[G] [A]
It creeps up my spine and haunts me through the night
[Bm7]
Life is good, and the girls are gorgeous,
[G]
Suddenly the air smells much greener now
[Bm7]
And I'm walking around with a half pack of cigarettes
[A]
Searching for the change I've lost somehow
[D] [F#m]
These Streets, have too many names for me
[G] [A]
I'm used to Glenfield Road and spending my time down in Orchy
[D] [F#m] [G] [A]
I'll get used to this eventually I know, I know
[D] [F#m] [G] [A]
Where'd the days go when all we did was lay
[D] [F#m]
And the stress that we were under wasn't stress at all,
[G] [A]
Just a run and a jump into a harmless fall
[D] [F#m]
From walking by a high-rise to a landmark square,
[G] [A]
You see millions of people with millions of cares
[D] [F#m]
And I stuggle to the train to make my way home
[G] [A]
I look at the people as they sit there alone
[Bm7]
Life is good and the sun is shining,
[G]
Everybody floats to their ideal place
[Bm7]
And the children all smile as the boats shuffle by them,
[A]
Trying to pretend that they've got some space.

For a start the lyrics are wrong. The chorus should say 'I'm used to Glenfield Rd and spending my time down in Ochy', meaning the Oakshaw area of Paisley, where PN is from. Cracking song. It's about the transition from the relative quiet surroundings of Paisley, a large town of around 80,000 people, to London which has close to 12 million living in the city limits. And how he can't get to grips with how big a difference the two respective places pose to him. Paisley is what he is used to, London is what he must adapt to.
